Hello brain

Our scientists want to know how our brains and nervous systems work.

We're using our brains to think about brains.

Your brain is in charge of how you sense and move around the world. It’s not an easy job, so your brain needs a lot of food. In fact, your brain uses almost a quarter of all your energy.

Your brain takes in information gathered by your senses. It also sends signals to your muscles to move. A network of nerve cells around your body sends these signals to and from your brain.

Our scientists are untangling this complex network to understand how your brain keeps your body moving.
