What is your immune system?

Your immune system is your body's defence system. It helps protect you from injuries and fight off infections caused by germs that can make you sick. The immune system is made up of lots of different types of cells. These cells are tiny and adapted to do different jobs in your body. Some are super-fast, some are super-sticky and some are super-squishy. Working together with their combined superpowers, immune cells help keep you healthy.

Sometimes, immune cells don't work the way they are supposed to. By putting immune cells through lots of different tests, scientists like Zoe and Sasha can figure out what's going wrong and think of ways to fix them.
